Home Magazine is direct-mailed every issue to verified homeowner-occupied single-family homes — neighborhoods chosen by home value, ownership and income. No apartments. No renters. And nothing inside but home improvement.
We work with our mailing department to pull the top home values, then narrow it down by carrier route — the areas of town most desirable to our advertisers. Move the dial and see your footprint.
Our 50,000 homes are split into two mailing lists of 25,000. To cover the whole market you run in two consecutive issues.
Based on our published distribution — homeowner-occupied, single-family only.

These are the ZIP codes we mail into — then narrowed by carrier route to the highest-value, owner-occupied blocks inside them.
You don't need an agency, a designer, or a marketing department. You need a phone that rings.
Our in-house art department designs it for you. Send us your photos, or we'll pull from our stock library — we'll even contact your vendors to get product imagery on your behalf.
Always freeOur artist reaches out for your sign-off. The art deadline is typically the Wednesday before we mail. Want to change the ad next issue? You can — we check in every time.
Wednesday deadlineThe publication goes out in the mail, straight to verified homeowner-occupied single-family homes in the neighborhoods we hand-picked. Your card is auto-debited that same Monday.
Direct mail onlyYou get a free, unique tracking number that rings to your main line. Log in any time to see every call the magazine generated — and listen to the last 30 days of them.
Proof, not promises"A high-quality product homeowners can actually use to find a professional to improve their home — without non-home-related advertisements distracting them." — Fresno/Clovis Home Magazine
A homeowner picks us up because they're thinking about their roof, their windows, their backyard. There's no car dealership on the opposite page, no restaurant coupon competing for attention. Every reader who opens it is already in the market — and every page is a contractor they could call.
If a Valley homeowner would hire you to work on their house, this is your audience.

Most advertising asks you to take it on faith. We give you a free, unique tracking number that rings straight to your main office line — then a login where you can see and hear every call the magazine sent you.
We're direct mail — you won't find us on a rack. But every edition we've published stays available online, so your ad keeps working long after the mail truck leaves.
Every edition we publish stays up as an e-Edition. Homeowners who saved the magazine — and the ones who found us later — are still turning pages, and your ad is still on them.
Locally owned and operated. Run one market or blanket the southern Valley.
We started this because we saw a need in the Valley for a direct mail publication built around one thing: the home improvement industry.
Co-founder. Came out of marketing sales and built Ugly Duck Marketing — specialists in reaching a target demographic.
Co-founder. Local business owner whose home improvement company, Perfect Home Products, sparked the whole idea.
Art director. The reason your ad design costs you nothing.
Sales representative, Bakersfield.
Sales. 14 years in sales and nearly five with Home Magazine — focused on getting advertisers a return.
We reach 50,000 homes through two separate mailing lists of 25,000 each. If you need full coverage of the market, you'll run in two consecutive monthly publications.
We work with our mailing department to identify the top home values, then strategically pick the areas of town that are most desirable to our advertisers and narrow that down by carrier route.
No. We only deliver to single family homes — verified homeowner-occupied.
Our art department creates it, and ad creation is free. You don't have to supply photos either — we'll use yours, pull from our stock library, or contact your vendors to obtain images on your behalf.
Yes. Your ad may be changed monthly, and our art team will touch base with you each month to collect any changes.
Typically the Wednesday prior to being delivered in the mail, though it may be earlier around holidays. If we can't reach you for approval, we'll let you know we're printing your ad as-is once we hit the deadline.
We supply you a unique number for free, and it rings to your main office line — or any number you choose. Your rep gives you a login to view your calls, and you can listen to the last 30 days of them. After that you can still pull a report of every call logged since the number was established. No other advertiser can see or hear your calls.
No, but it's a great tool for measuring how your ad performed. What we don't recommend is running both your own number and a tracking number in the same ad — you'd end up with no accurate data to go by.
It stays active for up to 90 days. After that it may be disconnected, unless you transfer it or keep it active for $20 per month.
We accept check, Visa, AMEX, MasterCard and Discover. We auto-debit each advertiser's credit card or bank account the Monday our publication ships in the mail — there is no pay-later option.
Cancellations must be made 7 days prior to the artwork deadline and are subject to early cancellation fees.
You can't — we're direct mail only. But you can read the current issue and back editions in our e-Edition online any time.
Advertising in a publication dedicated solely to your industry, targeting the exact clientele you're looking for, just makes good business sense. Call us and we'll walk you through the routes, the deadlines and the numbers.
